Did You Know Homeowners Insurance Covers Your Property Where Ever You Are!

Patti Krowel with StateOne Insurance Group was our featured speaker on 9/4/12.  Her presentation was informative as she went through the benefits of working with an Independent Agency that can offer many products from many different sources.

She covered the coverages on the many different insurance products available. Explaining the differences and some things that most people are not aware of, such as your homeowners insurance covers your property no matter where you are. Including personal property you may have in your car.

Being an independent agent and offering products from different insurance companies allows her to find the best coverage for the best rates.  At StateOne they use rating software which enables them to compare rates. This is beneficial.

Another tip she gave us was on rental car coverage. It is a good idea to purchase the rental car companies comprehensive coverage because if anything were to happen, this coverage would waive any deductibles you may have on your own auto insurance policy.  I did not know this as well and felt it was a valuable tip.
